Treasure Island Oldies with Michael Godin Now Live Sundays 8:00p-Midnight CDT

Treasure Island Oldies can now be heard live Sunday nights from 8p-Midnight CDT. You can still catch Michael Saturday mornings from 8am to Noon U. S. Central time and again Monday mornings from 2:00a-6:00am CDT.

Every week since 1997, host Michael Godin has brought the best oldies music from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s, including Lost Treasures, rare and hard to find oldies like Pop, Girl Group, Doo Wop and Rock & Roll artists including The Beatles, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Rolling Stones, Roy Orbison, Dave Clark Five, Ricky Nelson, Brenda Lee, Little Richard, Frank Sinatra, Five Satins, Diamonds, Shangri-Las, to mention a few.

Brit Rock Returns to Sundays

Dominic Forbes and Brit Rock returns to BackSpinRadio Sundays from 12noon to 3pm U.S. Central time.

Little is known about the man behind the Brit Rock. He's been in radio since Noah was in his Ark. If there's a song he doesn't know, it's likely it's not worth playing. He makes Jack Black look like a boy band member. That's how "the world" sees Dominic Forbes. And Brit Rock is heard around world playing anything and everything that its humble presenter feels is worthy. For  three hours each Sunday find out what's hot and what's not in the world of Rock from the British perspective by tuning in to Brit Rock with Dominic Forbes starting at 12noon to 3pm here on BackSpinRadio.

Have you checked out the BackSpinRadio Music Blog lately? Our blog has been publishing old music surveys from radio stations from nearly all four corners of the world dating back as far as the mid to late 1950's to the late 1980's. You can easily search for your favorite station from the past by clicking on the any one of the blog's link found on our page under the "BackSpinRadio Musc Blog" links to the right of our main page. These music surveys come from all over the place donated by people who collect them as a hobby. So far we have posted over 1700 music surveys belonging to over 340 different radio stations. A lot of those stations have sadly either gone off the air or are now a different format. It's great memories none the less so why not check it out. Also, we will be seeking song requests to air on a future request show which we will tell you more about later. A request and dedication link will be available soon so check back to our site often.

You Can Listen To Us Live Anytime

We get a lot of questions about how can someone find out what we are playing or have played during a particular time frame. All you need to do is go to our Main Menu found at the upper right of this page and click "Listen Live" link or the link to our "Live Player." There is a difference between the two links so here's how they work. The Listen Live link gives you all the media player choices including our available mobile links. It also includes what is currently being played and the songs played during the past few minutes.

If you choose the Live Player link a media player pops up and automatically begins to play the station's stream. You will need to have the Quick Time application loaded in your computer and your browser must be set to allow for popups. It's a quicker way to access the station but not everyone uses Quick Time nor do they like the idea of popups jumping out of nowhere. But you do have choices on how you tune in to BackSpinRadio.
